Gooday looking to bogan lower the front of my NA Fairlane to the max
Can i get away with just shortened struts and compressed harder springs or will that leave me with no travel, therefor making shortened shocks compulsary?? |

If you're going to bogan lower it to the max im guessing its gonna be low as f**k like most NZ'ers who 'lower' their car lol. But may i ask why you are only doing the front?
With you being in Christchurch, id be contacting Autolign (i think they have a branch down there), they're a steering and suspension specialist parts place and should have proper lowering springs and shocks/struts to suit what your after |

not sure about the NA, but my eseries I did the springs only. still drivable but you get serious bump stop bangs. It rides those bump stops heavily. I did the shocks just recently and now it drives much better and I dont think I've hit the bump stops yet.

Compressed springs isn't the best option 2 go.. if you do want 2 budget i suggest lowering it wit king springs...
Depending on wat your looking for i'd always suggest Tein Drifting suspension... Trust me i can take any corner with ease with it, but i did spend $3k on the suspension Plus swaybars... If your normal day driving tho i'd suggest just chopping the springs, if for circuit u would need a full suspension kit.
