you'd probably be 'Bait' to the cops!
but then again, these are 'off the shelf' items

Just enquire what your insurance is willing to take as 'lowered'. Most places won't touch more than 30mm from fact. std! useless pricks!

without anyone in the car the ultralows on the rear (super lows will be fine for the front.) But with passengers u might get sideways looks from the cops and it may not be legal.

Probably blow them out or make them Weep with Supers, i wouldnt even bother with Ultra's.
Plus it will handle like crap.
If you're not going to change your shocks, definately don't go Ultra's.
Super's you may get away with it.

Seriosuly, save a little longer and get shocks to match. You current ones are probaly f**k already. And low springs don't add much to handling without the right shocks too.

I'm not concered with bumps it's the fact it won't corner well. Depending on the state of your curretn shocks - if they've never been replaced they'll be shagged - it could become dangerous, as they (with lowered springs) will loose most of their designed travel - they won't be able to do their job properly.

As Data Mine said...
I wouldn't be worried about small speed bumps, i would be worried about how the car handles when driving normally.
You 'may' be able to get away with normal shocks with SUper Lows, but i wouldn't even think of leaving them in with Ultra Lows.
Though if you can save a few hundred bucks more, get some new shortened shocks.

@ EBTS50

Have you been in a car properly lowered with suspension mods. You're 'all right' may suddenly be changed to - 'boat like'.

I've got a complete Whiteline suspension setup, and hands down it's been the best mod I've done. Nothing quite like being glued to the rear bar of some little sports car all the way up a road like the Clyde HWY or the Snowy Mountains HWY.

Not sure about VIC, but in SA superlows = illegal (by about 5mm). Ive had them on for 2 years and have had no problems though.

Yeh dude ultra lows and stock shocks is stupid imo and probably dangerous.

Without a doubt as te guys have said dont half a*** the job to save cash...if ya wanna lower the car do it properly and do the shocks as well even if there just cheap ones.

Running ultralows and stock shocks is just like doin a dodgy and cuttin ya springs...will handle like s**t...f**k the shocks, maybe be too floaty and actually dangerous etc etc
