Most likely from a Fairlane.
The LWB cars had swaybars.

Hi. I had an XC 4 door. it had a sway bar rear end. whilst owning it I looked at dozens of other similar models. I never saw another with a sway bar. Their is a GS model in town also. I am keen to take a look under it in the futer to see if it has one.

I have tried to add photos but it wont allow me to as the file size is too big.
And i have noticed that the drum covers are for large center not small and the diff looks to have never been removed from the car so i beleave that it has had the XB Axels fitted. Also the numbers on the tag on the diff say 78DA-4005-BA Ratio 2.92 SER NO 2873 Does anyone know if the number 78 in the first code identify the year the diff? |

If it is a 78DA then it wasn't from an XB.

All XD sedans had rear sway bars.....last of the leaf rear sedans....XE went to Watts Link, except for utes, vans & wagons.
