XG spec 5 speed manual to AU series II engine?

Can anyone tell me if the XG spec 5 speed manual can fit an AU series II engine? I'm Keen to convert from auto to manual and have access to an XG 5spd so it would be great if that would fit. Its for an XF ute if that makes any difference.

Will bolt up with no issues. 2 bottom bolts on the XG bellhousing won't bolt to the block, but this will cause no issues. If it worries you, grab an AU Bellhousing.

Thanks for the info, it sounds like the box itself is nearly the same apart from the bell housing then.

AU T5 is longer than the E series T5.
