I've recently had all four of my pads replaced as well as havning all discs machining to get rid of that horrible shudder these cars seem to get but when I apply the brakes, the pedal feels like there is some sponginess in it. I assumed it was air in the brakes so I had them re bled again but still does the same thing. Im a normal car you press the brakes and they will come on pretty much straight away and hard, where as with my ute there is a bit of sponginess and you have to press the pedal with a bit of effort to get the brakes to pull the car up. Any ideas guys? I'm assuming its perhaps something to do with the master cylinder or brake booster because I don't have any leaks.
cheers

Wot sort of pads are you using? If they are s**t quality wot may happening is a build up of a layer of gas between the pad and the disc under braking which can cause this softness in the pedal. Not gospel but can happen
