50m ... Okay, that might be pushing it, but a 0-100 in under 6 seconds... SLOW? Bloody hell data_bat, stop at the side of the motorway, turn your data_vision on and show me your best. Hells bells, I'd believe you if you said you could do a 3 second 0-100, you're that sort of character.....

At the moment it's fairly complicated*, and while most of the parts can be sourced from Jaycar. Two I've had to import from overseas.

I'll also be organising custom PCBs for it. so it'll be small enough to hide away next to the shifter itself.

So at the moment, I plan on either selling solder-it-yourself kits or pre-built units.

*I've got an electrical engineering background.

sweet as. of course, it couldnt be as simple as connecting the two teminals on the gear stick to some wires and extend it off.

My first prototype was about that complicated. But then the gear stick didn't work (could only have one or the other working), and it wasn't for buttons on the steering wheel.

The electronics in the four speed work differently, but I could with get one sorted I'm sure. But there's no plans to at this stage.

Once I'm done on the six speed, I'll call for expressions of interest.
