keep the insects and stone chips away...

otherwise they really only sort of look wanky... sometimes along the top edge of them where they finish on the bonnet they have that triangular section that points up... again I think to divert stones away from the windscreen (correct me if I wrong somebody)...

Cheers,
Tim

A car bra absorbs radar beams so cops can't use a speed gun on you; derr.

I find it amusing that people protect their car to keep it looking good by making it look hideous all the time.

Unfortunately it's impossible to keep a car you use a lot perfect. Near perfect is as good as you can get! :D

Most small imperfections aren't noticeable unless you look REALLY close anyway.

Yes.. I hate the look of them, mine only goes on if I'm doing alot of freeway driving, and in that case it's worth every cent.

I look at it this way. My car will be alot more near perfect than yours because I use a car bra! :D

your like me you use it what it is desiged for, for highway driving or long distance driving only. Read the instructions on the tag it says; (this is just the gist of it) don't use in rain, don't leave on overnight due to condesation etc.

They are friggen heinous, Don't touch it! My aunty had one on her mustang, sure they must protect it to some extent, but s**t whats the point if it looks horrible anyway? It's like those people that put that plastic covering on the bonnet, after a few months it turns yellow and crap and looks even worse when you realize and take it off

One came with my XR front...

I'll use it when we have locust plagues come through and for highway driving (my headlights are now too expensive to break)...

That is once the P plate brackets come off in 4 months time...

Point is saving your paintwork when doing lots of highways driving as oppose to looking like a sikkk kunt.
