I don't know what just happened, I went to start my car and the ignition barrel didn't have any resistance and then I'm pretty sure a fusible link went.

How hard is it to change the barrel on a EB? Is this a common problem or should I be worrying?

Okay, just got home from work and had a chance to look at it in the light. Looks what has happened is the back of the barrel has broken away and then struck earth which has then fried the main fusible link.

Okay so I'm going to upgrade my fusible links while I'm at it.
Theres three black wires at 1.25mm each, two red wires at .85mm each and one green one at .5mm.

Which as far as I can tell means I need 3 80amp fuse elements, two 50amp fuse elements and a 40amp element

Have I got this right? Has anyone else done this?
