i had a look at the retrofit information and done a search aswell but i have a few questions

when putting a au motor into a ef how do other parts match up like alternator a/c compressor and ecu

from what i gathered its a modded sump or k frame then motor bolts in all all sensors are replaced off the au motor with the sensors from the ef motor ... is there anything that i should know before splashing out on a au power and many other bits

any help would be great

I found this previous thread re the aircon pump:

I think the alternator should bolt up. Are you going to get a complete engine or short engine?

to make it easier your best off using an au alternator.
you can use the ef one but there is a fair bit of modifications needed to get the ef one to fit.
the ef aircon pump will bolt up but you just need to cut the lower aircon pump spacers down by about 6mm..
the belt tensioner and water pump are the same.
and your ef power stearing pump will also bolt straight up..

there is also a slight difference in the gear box bellhousing as there are a couple of bolts that dont line up on the bottom of the housing but you can get away with not using them.
otherwise you can get an au bellhousing and bolt it to your gearbox..
