although, having said all that, the chances are an under-educated mentally challenged officer gave you that defect coz of the marks on the tyres, so to him or other likeminded people, or some knowledge deficient rta inspector, as long as those marks are there, the tyres still foul, so you could fix the problem, then go back and still fail because the tyres have evidently fouled on the guards, theres no time stamp on the marks however.

im asuming you don't have stock wheels on the car ? i'd put the stockas back on to clear it untill you can either harden your suspension up or get a decent wheel alignment or find another solution.

my front guards have a habbit of catching sometimes, only under pretty terminal cornering speeds combined with our nations fine undulated roads. this usually results in a small portion of the guard 'lipping' out which will catch all the time untill rolled back in, most lowered e series have this problem but thats the front not the back. can you give more information ?

well the tyres did scrub when it was lowers on ultralows all round and scrapped the front left tyre. i then took my car back to the place where it got lowerd and he put that wheel on the back of the car and super lows in the front so the rear tyres had rub marks on them bad ones too  . i have since recieving the defect notice turn the tyre around as it dosen't scrub at the back at all only kisses the lip of the arch when going over bumps.

i have 18 inch wheels lowerd with gt monroe gas shocks and ultra low rear springs and super low in the front. today i got a sport exhust and my 10 mm clearence is there except for it hits a mount which im going to have to get fixed.

i was just not sure wether the foul guards was the guards sitting over the wheels but im guessing they ment the damage to that once side of the rear tyres.

ah ok. i not long ago got my tyres swapped over on the rims left to right so the insides are on the outsides so it hides the scrub marks on mine.. for now lol
