3/8" drive extensions, 13mm socket, and an 3/8" drive mini air ratchet.
On the EF's, the coil pack makes it harder to get to.

you have to do it from under the car, I use a 1/4 inch drive socket set, I use the short and long extentions. make sure you undo the top bolt first as it is much harder to undo with the bottem bolt removed first..

Ended up getting it not long after this post. Put a stubby spanner on, used a hammer and long thin rod to crack the bolt (2 people - 1 to hold and 1 to hit) and then life was easy.
