Well I've found a kit for around $300.

I currently have an Elko setup which is a similar style to impco on my ED and plan to upgrade to an AU motor.

How much power should I expect from upgrading and what exactly do I need to change?
Just the throttle body?

And I've also heard of tuning issues, can this be overcome by a decent tuner?

Thanks.

Personally I'd save your money and time. If your current kit works fine, then your not going to get much advantage out of a second hand used setup when you consider all the stuffing around and potential issues.
If your really wanting to improve things, do it properly and go LPinjection setup.

As for what you require, if it's a complete kit, then it should have everything you need, and it's more than just the throttle body. If it's just the throttle body then that isn't a complete kit.

Im also looking into this setup purely for getting more kms out of a 65L lpg tank and if i get more power and torque thats a bonus and from speaking to a installer of GRA gear he is very condifent of getting an extra 40kms per tank plus more power and torque.

He currently gets 320kms per 65L lpg tank in his AU ute and apparently 60% of the time he is thrashing it so thats no bad kms for a V8 being trashed.

That sorta mileage doesn't sound too bad if being driven hard.

Swapping cogs in my EB I6 5spd around 2500-3000rpm, i can get between 300 & 450kms from the 65lt tank, LPG Injection, depending on driving conditions, eg light, medium or peak hour traffic & any freeway driving.

Cheers

AutoGas Italia system on my EB, and that's a mix of driving, mostly sub-urban & city fwy. On the Fwy / Hwy i can stretch a bit over 600kms to the tank on a trip.

Best i could ever do from 65 in my torana was about 420kms, and i averaged 250, with the stock 173ci.

Cheers
