Trying to change my rear rotors on the trusty EA Falcon today....The screw head that holds the rotor to the hub got rounded off in one go!! Even though I've used WD-40 before attempting to unscrew the damn thing. How do I get that stupid screw off? thanks in advance for all feed backs.

Or get the angle grinding and grind a slot into the head of the screw. Your changing the rotor aren't ya do ya need the old one, not going to hurt nothing.

Before attempting to undo them rotor securing screws, you whack it with a punch & hammer. Then you'll find they undo ok. Now you'll still have to whack it, then undo it with a centre punch & hammer.

Got my hands on some easy out today.So will give that a whack.It looks like a drill bit gone mental!! Never seen anything like it!! Left turning screws and it bites on hard apparntly..Should come out easy or they may as well rename the bloody thing.

If you have to use the easyout, make sure you drill fairly deep.
Also try the largest size you can fit in the problem bolt. Remember its hardened steel, so if the easyout breaks you'll have issues! ALso try cutting around the hex of the bolt to loosen the grit, its usually the head that does the work.

Have you tried hitting it with the corner of a cold chisel yet. The screw is already stuffed so it wont matter. If all else fails just drill off the head and remove the rest of the screw with the rotor off.
