hi

when you take off the eb/ed fairmont boot garnish do you have to take out the key lock too

does the key boot lock go through the boot garnish or only the boot metal

want to freshen the boot garnish as the red/orange is fading and the clear sections very slowly comming off but is still holding well

the boot lock is behind the garnish/ only conected to the boot so you can just undo the garnish and the lock will stay there...

do you mean the badges in the middle? theyre just stuck on, and AFAIK theres no way to seperate them, youd have to buy new ones if the colour has faded. theyre not that expensive i dont think.

Yes, you can get the badges off the garnish. Only problem is you destroy them in the process so you have to buy new ones. The new ones, I've seen, come with double-sided tape.
