I read the leather steering wheel forum with interest, I recently had my gear knob and handbrake lever stictched in black perforated leather, it was done by Platinum Interiors in Sydney, they did a great job and it matches the steering wheel (will try to get photos next week) the cost was $250 for both but well worth it, it changes the whole interior look especially on the XR's.
