hey hey,
stupid question... BUT...

im puttin a edelbrock performer manifold on my 400C, and i need to get a set of bolts. apparently some manifolds need longer front bolts than standard ones. do these? dont wanna get the wrong set. cheers.

I'm guessing you are talking about the tall block 400M cleveland engine rather than a 400 cu in stroker 351C. I fitted an Edelbrock Performer 400 EGR intake on to a 400M with normal bolts.

Just be aware there are two Edelbrock Performer 400 intakes available. The 400 EGR (like I fitted) and the 400 non-EGR.

Google the two to find pictures and compare to what you have

Actually the correct term is 400C. The M (for modified) was used on the 351M which is the destroked version of a 400C.

No really correct. You get a 351M or a 400. The 351M has the "M" to show its the tall decked Cleveland and the 400 doesnt need any suffix as there were no other 400 Ford motors in the day.
