G'day, I removed the moulds from the doors on my car to spray them a few months ago. I've just recently gotten around to actually spraying them, when I was comparing the colour I noticed the front door moulds (the longest) are nearly a centimeter too short..

All the moulds are a bit too short, I remember them being a perfect length when I removed them. When When I placed them on the side of the car it was fairly cold, but should they really shrink that much?

I've tried heating them so they are really bendy, but they only expand a couple of millimeters..

Has anyone had this problem before or know how I can go about fixing it?

Yeah cheers for that mate.

I dunno why I remember them being the full length of the panel.

Sounds pretty stupid now to think that they contracted 'cos of temperature..
