Hi all,
Most of my external lights are LED's now and as a result my indicators flash very quickly... I want to pick up a flasher relay that doesn't rely on load to determine flash speed but rather uses a fixed timer... Do EL's use a typical 3 pin flasher relay? Trying to work out which one of these I need: http://shop.ebay.com.au/LED%20flasher%2 ... SRCHX:SRCH I could use resisters to up the load, but negates one of the purposes of using LED's in the first place which is to reduce the power load. regards Frank |

Check out Jaycar/d**k Smith, etc - they should have electronic flashers for LED's also. The Ebay postage seems a bit much for a small item like a flasher - maybe the envelopes are gold lined ?? , the shop bought item might be similar in price - might be the better option in case you need to return it.
They are a 3 pin setup - pull the one out in your car and have a look.
