Hi i am looking at getting a second hand EF Intake Manifold paired with the air box and what not !

Will i see a performance increase? If So how much? Is it worth it?

I did this myself recently.

Click Here to read up about it.

You should upgrade to an EL ECU to contol the BBM switching as well.

How do i upgrade the ECU just grab an EL one and plug it in ? If its an EF setup do i only need an EF ECU?

Also do i need a new accelerator cable ?

You need, an EL ECU, EF or EL throttle pedal and cable, and add extra pins to the EB ECU plug for the BBM actuation. EF and EL throttle bodies are the same, and the only difference in the BBM is that the EL one has two bolt lugs for the inlet to bolt too, and the EF doesn't.

You also need the metal heater pipe that goes from the water pump and around the back of the engine, the metal heater pipe from the lower thermostat housing, and the EF/EL heater hoses from the heater box, and from the thermostat pipe to heater tap, and the short piece between both metal pipes.

You will also need to mod the EB log injection loom to work with the BBM.

Read this for info on how to do that.

Cheers
BenJ
