Hi all, im thinking of buying an 04 BA XR6T(auto) just wondering what is the best air intake setup as it stil has the standard system, should i just go with a normal pod or is there something better?, if so roughly how much would it cost, I got a quote from ss cold air inductions for their growler but it was nearly $600, Hope someone can help me out

I went for the Plazmaman crossover setup but am now looking at the new 800hp Plazmaman cooler package. Pretty much anything that replaces the standard ford crossover on top of the motor is better. But either way, it all flows pretty well.

a plazmaman 800 kit without plenumn will set you back around 2k. dont quote me on that as i purchased mine years ago.

this is a full kit with every nut bolt washer clamp and silicone hose included.

on my car it makes 350 rwkw with some other hardware.

basicly it puts the pod filter in your drivers side bumper bar using the old underbattery holes.
3 inch alloy pipes with silicone joiners off the turbo into a signature series plazmaman tube and fin 76mm thick intercooler thats perfectly matched in size for our cars (better throttle response).
out of that cooler into 3 inch alloy pipes and silicone joiners under the passenger headlight into the motor.
