Hello all. I've read the engine retrofit thread and XR-Lanes excellent build thread. Just want to clear up a couple of things. I'd like to cut the sump rather than the K frame. Any pros or cons for either method (I have someone who welds alloy). Should I leave the 300kpa fuel regulator on the AU engine or change to the EF 270kpa unit? Do I have to change the thermostat housing?

It is a standard AU 4.0l and not the vct. Any suggestions appreciated.

P.S. Anyone had any issues with the RTA and doing the AU into earlier falcon swap? Engineers Inspection required?

Does anyone have a photo of the modified sump?

Krytox did a good job of modding the sump rather than the k-frame. The only thing that would be affected by modding the sump would be a reduced oil capacity but thats not much of a drama.
