As previously said what size system are you running (amplifier power not speakers/woofers etc), do you have any other demanding equipment installed like a fridge, chargers etc?
Are your amplifier if applicable ground points have clean contact - eg: area filed back to bare metal. As said if the ground connection is 0ga, what size is the power - how long if amps are installed is the power and ground runs? Whats the current output capacity of your battery - eg: 500cca? also how old is it - has it been tested? What size alternator do you have now (will be noted on the unit)....some alternators can be rewound internally to beef them up - some as high as 160A - can be expensive though.
