hey all, just wondering are the front bumper reinforcements for the EF/EL XR's the same as the EF GLi ? thanks in advance.

Yeh it is.
the whole front bumper on EF Gli's/Futuras is exactly the same as EF/EL XR front bumpers, except for the XR lights.

thanks heaps guys, wreckers won't seperate the reo so i'll get a good EF bumper as a spare for my brother's wagon and use the reo on the XR6.

actually hate to tell you but I'm pretty sure there actually different to allow for the headlight scallops or whatnot, but supoosedly you canmodify them to make them work with one another.

have a bit of a wonder back through the threads as somebody came across this issue when converting, and he mentioned he got it on, but my memory is fading on how.

the reo's are the same but you need to cut off the upper section where the headlights sit for the bar , as you can see here

thanks guys, doesn't look to hard to mod to make it work. that pic makes it so easy to know where to cut. luckily i havn't turfed the old reo too so i i'll hang onto it until i get the new bumper :)
