anyone on this forum know if the serpentine belt on the au xr6 was the same as the au forte?

the std au and "NON VCT" xr6 use the same belt..

the vct uses a longer belt..

I'm glad you got in there first Troyman.... i was about to make a total d**k of myself with some stupid comment about the XR6 having a space age polymer high performance belt to cope with the extra 7 kilowatts.

I'd totally forgotten about the VCT. :roll:

okay good,
because im going to service the AU this weekend i have one of them blue belts which are ment to be 40% stronger but it said they were for au xr6 just wanted to makesure.
