Hi Guys and Gals...
Would be interested to know what chips there are out there that actually do give an increase in HP without having to change the whole ECU
I have already fitted a single muffler 2.5 inch cat back system...(am contemplating putting 3" from the muffler back) and have got plans for a full bonnet width cold air intake but want to know what chip to put int my box...and wether it comes with some hot sauce

there is the
J3 (that one of the members from ths site makes)
Uni chip type c
Chiptorque
they are the only ones i know of that are proven as to which one is better?????????? Personal prefferance.

I use chiptorque it does almost everything that a midrange full ecu will do. The bonus of a chiptorque chip over a unichip is that the chiptorque chip can adjust the shift pressures and points in a auto gearbox, the unichip can't. I don't know if the j3 can or not.

Any reprogramable chip will show a improvement if the person responsable for the tune knows what they are doing!!!

I use a SCT Eliminator chip, i made heaps more power with the chip, you can also change pretty much anything. take speed limiter off, rpm limiter, shift points, BBM switch over point, air/fuel ratio scaling, different tunes for different uses aswell etc....
