Hi guys, havnt posted in a while lol, lost a little interest in my car, cause of uni but slowly getting back into it and picking up where i left off.

one thing ive been meaning to do was make my exhaust louder.

my car is a ef fairmont, with extractors and a 2.5" exhaust. im wondering what is the best thing to do to make it 'tuffer' so to speak. i also have a rear resonator.

thanks boys

I personally don't believe 'louder' always equals 'tougher'.

Making it louder, will only draw more attention to your car, some of which is not welcome. In addition, making it louder can make the car drone at cruising speeds, which is not fun at all.

The simple way to achieve what you want is to have the rear reasonator removed. This will make it louder.

To make it tougher, adding a cam, modified head, higher compression, or a free flow intake all make changes to the sound/timbre of the exhaust note.

sounds good put a crow cam in and changed the note a lot sounds so much better.
i used to have a 3 inch exhaust was loud as F**k but sounded like crap but no mufflers at all though
