Hey guys, just wondering what effect would removing my rear muffler and putting a resonator in have?
Im after a deeper sound, and im aiming for the pop and crackle on de-celleration. could this possibly cause drone at highway speeds? edit: should also mention its a 2.5inch system with center and rear muffler, high flow cat and extractors. |

I only have the centre muffler on my EB and it has the popping noise and no drone.

usually on a sports 2 1/2 system the rear mufler is a resinator.

Doing this would only make current popping and crackling more noticable. This is generally caused by s**t tune (usually due to huge cam on stock ecu), although you can get it even with a good tune on a really hot engine.
