hey guys
i just bought a 91 XF pano 3 hours ago :mrgreen: and im looking at upgrading the engine to an E series, preferably the latest year i can get a hold of cheap. the only thing is the pano is carbi and i wana put a EFI engine in, obvoiusly i need the rite ECU but is the wireing harnes the same? wat else will i need apart from the ecu and intake manifold??

Mate, the easiest way would be to find an XG ute or van, that way you would get everything you need. If not, at least get a complete e-series wagon, that way you will have 95 % of what you need, and the wagon diff will bolt in too.

how soon are you wanting to do it? do you want to go manual?

i am planning on converting to a v8 in the next couple months, so when im dont i am going to have an xg motor with cam(pulls really good for 280km) and manual setup. but unsure if my mate wants the manual or not.
