hey all, my mate has an AU Fairmont Ghia and the climate control screen has faded and only a lights up certain sections....so at the moment it looks real dodgy. Any Ideas what may be wrong and what it takes to fix? Is it to do with the LEDs??

it happend to my AU and was fortunate enough that it gave up before the warranty expired. Ford had to replace the whole LCD panel.

Have a look on ebay there is a guy selling repair at about $35, you goto him.
