Hello People im looking at getting a trip computer for me 92 eb2 i was read that if i was to get one i would need one with the wireing...i havnt got one yet but was curious so i pulled the pannel out where the trip would sit and noticed that there was a pluged attatched to the back of it and a second larger plug just inside the cavity would this be the plug for the trip computer on plug has 4 wires colours are black, green-red stripe, green-yellow stripe, purple-white stripe the bigger plug has 5 wires black, brown, green-white stripe, gray-blue stripe, blue-red stripe back further there is are a few more wires that go somewhere else black, white, brown blue-red-stripe. i also noticed another single brown wire just sitting there back a bit on the same loom.

From what i can see you have plugs which are for 2 diff accessories, the one attached to the face plate is for a clock(a clock only not trip computer) and the other believe it or not im sure is the connection for the rear windscreen wiper switch for a station wagon which locates itself where your lpg switch is, i believe they used the same wiring harness for sedan and wagons. Follow this doco and you should be right documents.php?d=82
