Hi There

The torque settings depend on the head gasket used.

If I recall correctly ......

Standard composite gasket - 40nm then 90 degrees.

AU Multi Layer Steel ( MLS ) gasket - 30nm then 120 degrees.

The specs should of came with the gasket when you bought it. as gutza sad, the standard is 40nm then 90 degrees. make sure you coat the new bolt threads well with assembly lube or oil before you tighten them in a sequence. otherwise they'll bind and give you a false reading on the torque wrench.

here's my gay head bolt tightening sequence in case you haven't got it.

Common misconception, but either works the same in the end.
