You jump in a prius mate and anyone else jumps into ANY other car and they will beat you.
Comparing drivers requires the cars to be identical or within 10% within normal conditions, unless of course gears are missed, bad reaction times. It doesnt make up for as much to say that a standard faldore can beat any other car.

This is pure P plate argument, but i'll participate, lol. From experience against dad's vx ute v6 auto, he will nail you up to 60-then you will fair crush him from then on. EF/L Falcons have alot more torque and a bit more power-however you are crippled off the line beacuse the Commo has a way shorter 1st grear to make up for it's lack of balls- they're crappy old pushrod Buicks.

thats what everyone use to say to me in my EL, when i use to drive like a d**k, but i still beat holdens off the line and they wouldn't catch and im using a 3.08 diff and an auto.

correct. eco was holden AU's effort at refining the buick 1960 motor that the VN-VR got. holden AU did a good job.
my missus has a VX 2002 with ecochock. it is a boat. after she drove an AU3 even she agrees its a boat. it is ALOT more revvier than my EF and, sadly it would beat the EF even with its barge like handling characteristics. |

Umm no they didn't; I would prefer the earlier buick engines over the later ecotec pieces of s**t. The reason it beats your AU is because of tall ratios (try getting your missus' vx to 95km/h in first only just at redline).

may not count but my 2c's my brother VU S pack ute is crap, i go from my EF to the ute and it just revs and revs and revs but doesnt go anywhere.... even my brother agrees the Ford feels and seems alot quicker then the Commonwhore and the ecobrick even though its a ute it just seems too heavy for the motor and just doesnt get anywhere! may be different when actually compared on a track but in real world driving it just doesnt feel as good or as quick as my ford.
