Hey i dont really know much about gearboxes. but.. I got a xf fairmont ghia Sedan, I want a 5spd in it, It's auto atm, Im not sure about how to do it. Id take it to a mechanic but.. If i buy say:

gearbox
bell housing
fly wheel
pedal box
clutch cable
gear shifter surround
tail shaft

if i buy that? ill be able to put it straight in? or will i need a new engine. sorry if this is a stupid question, im learning:)

hi mate,
if you buy a complete 5spd conversion you can swap it all over, no need for a new donk.

All good mate. Good to see your wanting to learn.
Wont need a new tailshaft your auto one will work.
Dont need a new motor its pretty much all plug and play.
Funnily enough Im selling at the moment just what you need.
