Hey mate.

The bloke I always use is amazing at what he does and very cheap.

He painted my whole body kit and literally half my car for $900. I had already fitted the kit though.

If you only wanted the exterior sprayed (i.e. NOT the insides of the doors, bonnet, ect) then I can't imagine is costing much, if any, more than $2.5k.

The place is called S & N Crash Repairs.

Nah... Paint reacts differently on fibreglass compared to metal. Depending on the colour, it may be noticable or it may not be. Because of this, my front bumper is slightly lighter than the metal parts he sprayed.

I though it was odd but I sprayed it myself a little while later and the exact same thing happened. Really not that noticable in person. Never really bothered me and I'm pretty picky.

I'm getting some more paint touchups soonish and he said he'll try to make a special mix for the front bumper to get it matching a little better.

if you use spray putty on the bar it will come the exact same colour as the rest of the car.

No it won't. It is sprayed with putty. He always undercoats with spray putty before final undercoat. Like I said. It's weird. You can honestly take a colour coded can of spray paint and run a continuous streak from the bar to the car and they will both dry different colours.
