I wouldn't want to speculate mate, as what I know of AU's would fit on the head of a pin when written in felt tip...
having said that, the AU T5 has a longer tail than the E series.. so presumably the auto does also. Also the AU has a completely non compatible ECU.. so i'd be surprised if it's all interchangeable. Wish I could help more but I've never really liked AU's so I never bothered learning anything about them. |

The V8 BTR has a longer output shaft than the 6cyl version & the convertor has different mounting bolt positions for the driveplate. The electronics are the same as the 6cyl BTR.
Much easier to fit the original 6cyl BTR - unless you want to mess around with tailshaft lengths, swapping bellhousings and convertors etc etc |

V8 to V8 or 6cyl to 6cyl - no problems. But the V8 BTR's do have a longer extension housing & output shaft - Causing tailshaft length problems. |

AU's have a longer box than an E-Series. The tailshaft and floorpan need mods to fit it in

V8 Auto from an AU will bolt up fine and run fine from EB right through to AU no modifications will be needed.
