sounds more like a vacum leak---cneck tfi-all vacum lines--throttlebody & manifold gaskets for leaks

I had a similar problem with my idle but it was good for 1min then degrade over the next minute and nearly stall. The ISC would pick up revs and the process would repeat itself. Only happened after I had my pacemakers and a high flow cat fitted. Traced it back too the ECU, after checking for vacuum leaks etc.....

Got a EL futura ECU from a wreck and the car idle perfects now. I would say the exhaust fitter didn't disconnect my battery when he was welding the new exhaust flanges on the cat....?? and cooked my ECU.....

The funny thing was he told me when I picked the car up that the idle would take a few 100km's to relearn. More like he knew he f*cked my ECU etc...........

I just gave the base screw about half a turn and it runs a lot better now, really smooth.
It's weird how half a turn of a tiny screw can make my car feel that much better.

Its not really when you think about it as it actually open the butterfly a touch, so its the same as feathering the throttle.

When someone puts it to you like that it makes a bit more sense haha
