Go the dash, for a ex chaser, someone else had it before then, unless caryard put sticker on rear window, i would suss it out very very carefully.

yeah, theres a few things that grabbed my attention...

its a GLi, but colour coded grille insert, also passeneger side air bag on a GLi??

my el gli had abs and dual airbags but yes it was an ex cop car.

cant see the dash clearly enough to see if it's got the chaser cluster, but considering it's got a 2300kg towbar and it's wired for electric trailer brakes, it may be a case that someone ordered it as a V8 for towing......

That is the same as one of our old work cars so yes, it would be a good guess that it isnt a chaser, but a vip protection car

As for the 96 ghia, it isnt the tickford optioned as mine is and it hase about the same kays, also has gone up to 13000, what does that make mine worth lol

Yeah tickford didnt do anything to the engines on the 5litres, I'm guessing he means kit and rims

Yep, No kit, but rims, suspension and exhaust. Thats how it was issued. As to the white GLI, the AFP did a special order and they werent used as chasers but had most of the chaser gear, a good way to pick them is a gli with full power options and V8 auto with limo diff and lower gearing or tow pack
