A mate of mine got a quote recently for a singl bank turbo setup for a v8 and was wondering what ppl thought of them?
Obviosly it wouldnt be as good as a system which used both banks, but costs f all and seems easy enouygh to install. Would there be any problems running a turbo of only one of the headers? Ones side would have more back pressure n s**t, but woudl that cause any problems..?

well would be hard to get the engine to run evenly from the two banks and also would have very bad turbo lag as u would have half the exhaust flow to spin it up.
really wouldnt reconmend it be much better to save up for twin turbo job |

are you sure it was a single bank, instead of single turbo?
if the exhaust manifolds are set up right, you can run a single turbo on a V8

So tel mwe htf they tune it ?
Exhaust back pressure on turbo cars is often more than double boost ?? This all on one side....

Sounds like a dumb a*** idea though up by an accountant rather than an engineer/mechanic
Well I guess you would atleast have the turbo for its sound I think I would give that one a miss.
