Ive got an EL XR6, i want to change to the catscratch bonnet vents that the EF XR6 had, i prefer them.
ARM79, how much were you after for it? what colour, im after grey. Also, after a tyre placard for the drivers door with 15's and 16's on it. They are hard to get off, but if someone can get it off whole id be very keen! i went to ford and they dont make them anymore, got seperate 15 and 16 ones, but id prefer a whole one. |

Specifications Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Rev/Miles Difference

But they aren't within and inch of the 8 inch width, which they need to be for the 19's to be legal. The 16x7 are, so i need the placard with both on unfortunately |

Sorry arm79, missed your reply, price sounds good, whereabouts in Melbourne are you? Late next week would be when i was after it, i thought they would be hard to find, that why i posted up before i actually needed it. Let me know if you have the whole thing.
I think the parts needed are the actual box, the module in the dash? some wiring aswell, is there anything else? Red bonnet vents would be next, if none come up il get in contact with you gogetta, thanks for the reply |

Yeah, I though't you'd forgotten me and I was going to go cry...
I'm in western suburbs, Laverton to be exact. Had a quick look and everything is there. Heater box with everything attached to it. Grey climate computer, full high series dash wiring loom and ambient temp sensor. The only thing I dont have (but not part or really needed for a CC conversion) is the high series BEM. Finding bits and pieces is fairly easy, finding complete all in one place is hard. And I just happen to have 3 (I think they are all complete).. lol.. Drop me a PM if you want anymore details or to work out how to pick it up. |

nah sorry, u just hid above the next post
I will let you know later this week for sure, sounds pretty good to me at the moment though, i got to uni in footscray so it'd be a short trip down. So the high series BEM isnt necessary for it? What would you change to a higher series BEM for? it already has 4 elec windows, wanted to convert to climate control, and a police dash eventually, would i need a high series BEM for that? wait just read the tech doc, seems like the only feature it has is light dimming control and aerial adjustment. I already dont have an aeriel, not fussed about the BEM then. will the high series loom plug into the mid level BEM thought? Il let you know for sure later in the week, thanks again!!! |

No problems, just drop me a PM when you're ready and we'll organise something. I work in Lavo North so if need be you can get from my work.
High series BEM isnt necessary, and to my understanding (never done it though) the CC loom can be seperated from the main loom, as its pretty much independant. So you can cut the CC loom out and attach it to your current loom. High series BEM gives you antenna control (I do have an antenna too ), dimming and speed based intermittant wipers. Mid level BEM is different as it is missing 1 plug. I also have an EF Cop cluster too if you are interested. |

I have an auto pedal box if you still need it...if you want I can drop it off at arm79's place and you can pick it up in one go. Not sure how much they are worth...

Hey guys, sorry, but i'm 99% sure ive sourced the CC and pedalbox a little closer to home for a good price, but i wont finish this thread till im completely sure. Il keep in mine that you have 3 arm79, if it falls through il be there as soon as possible.
However i am VERY interested in the cop cluster. How much were you chasing for it? just want to confirm it the same as the EL style visually, as the early EF stuff looked like the ED style? The main reason i want one is easy recalibration for the 19's, do you know how to make the adjustments on it? Edit: just realised if it has the older style display, i should be able to put my EL dash face in, and it will look exacltly the same. How many km does it have on it? |
