Before you go jumping into repairing it your self id check that the radiator support & the skirt arnt to damaged because then you are goin to need a rack to pull it straight.
Or you will have to find a panel shop that will pull it out for you.
Once all repairs have been carried out when you go to register it again the workman ship better be spot on as will be on record that has been a right off. You also need receipts for everything.

yeah atm it will stay registered as from what the asscessor explained to my dad that it won't be listed on the repairable write off list. My father and I will start pulling the front off it this weekend, to asscess the lower half of the rad support and underneath... If they seem undamaged it will be a goer if not spareparts.

yeah definately keep reciepts my mate nearly got f**k over on his hilux, he bought a rolled 01-03 something like that hilux duel cab 4b.
Anyway when he went to get it all checked over he found out he needed the vin from the car he got the roof cut off.
So he had to get the wrecker to track it down.

And I've heard of the it' won't be on the registery before, until something gets f**k up and it ends up on there anyway. So just be careful.

Don't buy any parts. Like you now know, these are only worth a few hundred bucks damaged. Go to another auction, and buy another Falcon that is damaged elsewhere. Then you'll have all the parts you need, plus s**t loads of spares you can flog off. Come out in front easily.

in dubbo they are few and far between and the wreckers fight for them at the auctions when they do pop up. Dad and I are waiting for aami and should have a front parts in the works from RD if all goes to plan. we are currenyl just sitting and waiting.

Ok, thought I would semi update this. My old man, brought an EL falcon for 200 bucks (missus engine and gearbox). So he scored a bargin he saved a heap of dollars from headlights and panels. I will post pics up tomorrow when it is transported out to his place in Geurie...

Well done, thats great. Thats definitely the way to do it. bet he is stoked with that. Will it need paint or is it the right colour?

need a coat of paint, the car is white so it shouldn't a drama to paint or get painted.
