just wanted to know the pros and cons of getting an eliminator chip for my EL XR6? i.e. fuel economy, power, torque, and most importantly is there any point in getting one?

And,

Other than just buying the chip, what else do I need to do?, i.e. do I need to get the car tuned or do I just stick the chip in?
