Just felt like fabricating something this weekend. So i set myself up to fold and rivet this little beasty. Like all projects (hind-sight prevails) i would change the design slightly but it will still work ok. :D
I got the idea from a CAI you can get from EVIL BAY  It was photographed with an extra part to channel the air towards the in take a little more. But it required some cutting of the grill  No way i was cutting the grill. So it lead to this ......

Cya's :D

Not bad, not bad at all. might just be me but have you got the stock intake. Should get yourself one or the BA-F XR turbo ones.

thanks for the comments.

It's funny you should say that, i was talking bout this differences in ford intakes on another thread. And yes i will get one. I have had a real good look at mine and find it hard to understand where they would be BIGGER! I assume the mouth of it is, but it cant be much larger due to the scolloping in the bonnet not alowing a larger mouth.

But I would like to get the measurements of one to compaire :D

1.6mm sheet. :D

I started with a weet-bix box cut up and sticky taped together for a template.
Then drew it onto the shhet, tin snipped it up, folded, 2 pop rivets, a light sand, under coat, than 2 coat of satin black.

I spos it works, you really never can tell with such small mods. But it all helps :D
