I use the Ford R1-424 ( EF/EL/AU..etc) power steer fluid in my EA and the ED, no problems at all.
I think the rack bolts are a 14mm head..or 15mm head.....can't remember.

not an expert by any means ,but, my bro-in-laws EF XR8 had tight steering ever since he had rack rebuilt the mech. told him it may've picked up a bit of the ols seal and was partially blocked - turns out that when they bolted the rack back in one bolt wasn't actually in the mounting hole ( on the rack itself) but was only holding on by the washer making the whole rack side off kilter - easily fixed but very poor effort from the mech.!

hi is a eb/ed 6 cyl black trip computer and a ed 6 cyl climate control and ed 6 cyl sports dash and ed fairmont interior and power windows able to be adapted to work with au fairmont 6 cyl wiring harness. also how easy is it to rip out the airbag wiring in au wiring harnesses and can ed abs systems be adapted to run with au wiring. just quick questions as theres been stories about the full au wiring being transplanted as well as the engine and itd be better to keep the ea-eds body/interior looking original still when transplanting wiring harnesses
