2 quick questions if you gentlemen would be able to assist!
The car is a Ghia V8. I am toying with the idea of putting 3.9 diff gears in it as the next mod. 1) Will any normal borg warner gear set fit? Does it matter if the diff it's coming from is a pintara without LSD for example? 2) What is a reasonable price to have a workshop fit these gears labour only (I have been told with the IRS it can be quite expensive)? I plan on purchasing gears from ebay.

The AU IRS assembly should make it cheap and easy, there are 3 bolts that hold the centre into the car, I did an LSD to Lokka swap in my AU in under 2 hours. Thes included pulling out and re assembling the car
