Is it correct to say that Premium Unleaded is cleaner than standard Unleaded Petrol?

I just did an engine oil change (after 6 months of using only Premium Unleaded) and the old oil seems much dirtier (dark black/brown) than when the previous oil change, where I only used Unleaded.

check out BP's big yarn. surely you've seen their GT with camera in the combustion chamber action? I've only ever run BP Ultimate in the near 3yrs I've had my ute and the oil still looks brand new every time I check it ....... and no it's not the orginal oil.... and yes it do service it 6 monthly.
Not a spot of carbon to be seen anywhere.
