they can kind of fit... but the handbrake is dfferent in X series and early E series to EF/L. ie, the handbrake part of the pedalbox needs to be removed.

I am also interested in this question.

I have a conversion kit from an XG im looking to fit into an EL falcon. I was wondering if the pedal box to this will fit even with the modifications?

Cheers guys.

You can mod an EA-D pedal box to fit an EF-L but the XF-G is too different.
It doesnt have the three bolts across the top to bolt to the firewall, it relies on the top steering column mount and 3 bolts around the base of the steering column.

You can always just buy a clutch pedal pin from malwood to do your conversion.

Or you can look at this doc.

fordmods-technical-documents-diy-f38/auto-to-manual-pedal-box-conversion-new-design-t77110.html

No need to buy a mal wood pin they have been proven to be a waste of time.

Ahh yes, I forgot about your method.
By far the strongest method to date I would say.
