Hey guys
This is a wierd one i guess but im clueless as to what to do. The other day i installed a new cd player in me car and i had to disconnect the lpg fuel gauge. Its an electronic gauge that lights up so when fully on u got a full tank, 3 lights is half a tank etc. Now Ive got it working so when i start the car it starts on petrol then u rev it and it clicks to gas and i can switch back to petrol no probs. The problem is is that apparently i always have a full tank??? i have tried many different combos with the wires to hook it up and still dont work. There are 5 wires that connect to the guage +, -, gas, pet and signal. Does any1 have any idea cause i can't figure it out Anything would be helpful |

Where are you, Sydney, ACT or both? Open the Flap on the tank and on the gauge there will be 2 connections, one will go to the tank body, note the colour of the other one, that one should go to the Signal connector on the change over Switch / Gauge. The 12v and Neg should be obvious. The gas connection should go to the soleniods to open up the gas valves. Petrol one is likely not connected but may be wired to a relay to cut injector power. Hope this helps. Cheers TW.

lol didnt notice my signature said sydney act lol anyway that actually sorta helps but the colour of the wire on that tank that should be signal is black and theres only one black wire to hook to the switch which is the neg as the switch doesnt work when thats not on the neg terminal.
i dunno might just take it to where it was installed |
