hey,
Not sure if this is the right section but im just wondering if anyone has installed Bixenon HID's into their BA/BF. Im just curious to whether there is enough room between the battery and headlight and the airbox and headlight. i have a BF xr8 if that helps.
Cheers,
Bazzo

No problemo, i will take some shots tomorrow for you. Kit wise, i actually bought them and had them installed by a place called Promax auto in blackburn, melb that deal with all the drift cars and jap imports and s**t...they really know there stuff. I suppose the only draw back is the right hand side ballast as to mounted in front of the airbox which means if u want to put a typhhon secondary air intake in, you can't APPARANTLY the ballast should be as lose to the bulb as possible/allowance.

thanks mate, i am after some HID's and i dunno if i want 5000k or 6000k.
how do you find the amount of light output compared to the halogens?
and is your kit the single beam or does it have the solenoid that moves the globe up for the low/high?

thanks for the replies. i bought a Hi/Low kit for 220 delivered. i got the 6000k, dont want to go too overboard. also what have the you guys done with your existing high beam/foglamps? did you replace the bulbs and try and match the colour? cause i assume there would be a difference.

Will get photos soon guys, :) As for the light output...its HUGE! it lights up the way for ages, you can see signs that you could never see before with halogens. As for the foggies, i looks a little strange with the standard yellow so thats why im going 5000K HID's in the FOGS :D
