I just had some 4.11 gears put in my XR8 6spd BA2.

Im a bit unsure if they give any benefit or not.

As we know the BOSS V8 doesnt have much under 4000rpm.. I wanted to give it a kick up the bum down low and in the mid range and the gears have helped out a little.. But the gear pulls through pretty quickly and doesnt give the boss top end a chance to hit hard..

Your hitting the rev limited before it has a chance to realy punch away..

Is the car overall quicker??? I do not know..

What has ben proven at the strip with these cars??
