Hi guys

Can anyone tell me buy looking at these pics if these are the standard pistons in a 302 windsor ef xr8 or not

to me they look like they have been flycut for a 4 valve head?
But def not a standard 302w piston.

They had the standard e7 heads on there so im unsure

What are the numbers on the heads?, im sure someone here can tell you if there e7s.

Could have a rebuilt bottom end...

On the heads theres

4M15, 18, 16, 10 one of them

also has on the outside of the head 05A0

and were the valve springs are theres in big letters CP and T

Those pistons look similar to mine when I had my heads off although from memory, mine didnt have that small dish like yours do.

I dont have a pic, but the pistons on my au 175 v8 are just a flat top piston with the four half moon cutouts opposite each other(i dont know why there is four half moons on my pistons when they come with 2 valve heads).
Could these pistons be old style dished 302 windsor pistons with the cutouts made in them like the newer style injected pistons have?

Your pistons seem to have had a dish machined into them, maybe to lower comp, but i dont think they are dished pistons with cutouts like i said previously.

They have four valve reliefs so they can be used on either side of the engine when it is built,that's all.

yeah they look like stockies. Have you measured the bore size?

yes mate they are standard pistons and they have four valve reliefs so that can be either bank.
